Position: Host Development Apprentice

Scope: Serve on the Host Development Team as a Home Office Contact for Host churches by assisting in the leadership and execution of Host training. 

Staff Team: The Host Development Team builds and maintains relationships with Connect Camps Host Churches, equipping them to be healthy Hosts (who form partnerships with other churches/organizations, maximize their Leadership Team and Connect Ministries resources, make their church visible to families, and effectively plug families back into their church). 

Reports To: Host Development Specialist


Responsibilities: 

  • Lead 12 Host Churches as a Home Office Contact through monthly video calls and email

  • Lead development, organization, and communication within HDT Hotline email

  • Lead all coordinating Host Church partnership events for new Host churches

  • Lead monthly communication email updates for 56 Host Churches

  • Lead monthly Leadership Team newsletter communication

  • Lead Connect Conference Host communication

  • Lead Connect Conference Host registration

  • Lead collection and organization of Connect Conference Host video projects as needed

  • Lead creation of monthly Host Webinar slides 

  • Lead Host Facebook Group and networking opportunities

  • Assist in Host Care and Celebrations

  • Assist in Host Resource Development

  • Assist in developing and presenting monthly Host training webinars

  • Assist in innovation and development of Host Church training resources

  • Assist Connect Conference Host Church training conference (in-person)

  • Assist Connect Ministries Evaluation Week

  • Manage Host Hub website updates

  • Create and achieve personal professional goals

  • Participate in monthly professional development opportunities as part of the Connect Development Program

  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or work teams

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

  • Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

  • Summer Staff Experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

  • Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

  • Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

  • Willing to learn and grow

  • Desire to innovate in ways that serve Connect Ministries’ mission

Part-Time - Paid - 25 Hours per Week - In-person
