Position: Logistics Intern


Scope: Assists the Logistics Team in coordinating all Connect Camps logistics and Connect Ministries event logistics. 

Logistics Team: The Logistics Team exists to create, activate, and manage clear processes, event logistics, and excellent customer service to efficiently support the experiences for families, churches, and staff. 

Reports To: Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities: 

  • Assists in reserving Connect Ministries event vendors

  • Steward of our consistent event vendor relationships

  • Assists in managing logistics for Connect Ministries’ events

  • Create Crew schedules behind the scenes of events

  • Assist in organizing event travel

  • Helps create processes for all Connect Camps logistics (safety, check-in, checkout, transitions, etc.)

  • Assist in writing manuals for Connect Camps summer staff team members

  • Write informative parent content to help them prepare for camp

  • Completes all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values and philosophy of Connect Ministries

  • Applicant must have completed his or her first-year of school by employment start date. 

  • Applicant is coachable and teachable

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership

  • Demonstrated effective problem solving, analysis, and decision-making skills 

  • Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships 

  • Demonstrated skills in Google Suite programs (google sheets, docs, etc.) 

  • Recommended to have experience in event planning

  • Excellent written and oral communicator 

  • Executer, see plans and projects through from start to finish
